We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehouse operations at our innovative site in Tilburg, working with a well‑known Fashion & Retail customer.

In this role, you will lead and develop operational teams, drive performance and continuous improvement, and act as a key member of the leadership team. If you are an enthusiastic operations leader ready for more responsibility and your next career step, this could be your opportunity.

What You Do On a Typical Day

• Full responsibility for the warehouse operations - inbound, outbound, returns, shipping, and the technical department.
• Leading and overseeing operational performance across all departments to ensure smooth daily execution, achievement of KPIs, and delivery of customer expectations.
• Overseeing the technical department, including maintenance and repair planning, to ensure equipment reliability and operational continuity.
• Managing and developing operational teams through performance management, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support.
• Ensuring operational standards, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are consistently maintained across the site.
• Monitoring and managing key operational metrics, including productivity, service levels, customer agreements, quality, and absence and illness rates.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and overall warehouse performance.
• Acting as a member of the leadership team, contributing to operational strategy, decision‑making, and business objectives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through daily contact and collaboration on operational matters.

What You Need To Succeed At GXO

• University degree / HBO qualification in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in a similar operational leadership role within a warehousing environment.
• Experience managing large operational teams, combined with strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proven ability to drive operational performance, achieve results, and motivate teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English required; Dutch would be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of WMS systems and strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
