Job summary

Global Footwear Group is seeking a hands-on Workstation Technician to take ownership of day-to-day IT support at the Netherlands distribution centre and assist European operations. You will be the on-site first point of contact for staff from warehouse to leadership, applying practical problem-solving and clear communication.

The role covers 1st/2nd line support, hardware troubleshooting, device maintenance, and involvement in IT projects across Europe, including a Paris site opening.

Qualifications

• 1st/2nd line IT support experience in a professional environment.
• Good working knowledge of desktop hardware, software, peripherals and general IT troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across departments.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritise requests and take ownership to resolution.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 1st and 2nd line IT support at the Netherlands distribution centre.
• Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, RF equipment and other workplace tech.
• Diagnose issues and coordinate with wider IT teams for complex problems.
• Manage workstation configuration, installation, maintenance and replacement.
• Maintain IT hardware inventory and coordinate equipment purchases/repairs.
• Support new technology installations and IT projects across European locations.
• Provide desk-side support and ensure users get the most from their tech.
