Global Footwear Group is seeking a hands-on Workstation Technician to take ownership of day-to-day IT support at the Netherlands distribution centre and assist European operations. You will be the on-site first point of contact for staff from warehouse to leadership, applying practical problem-solving and clear communication.
The role covers 1st/2nd line support, hardware troubleshooting, device maintenance, and involvement in IT projects across Europe, including a Paris site opening.
An opportunity to join a leading global footwear group, home to some of the world's most recognised brands across performance, outdoor and lifestyle.
We're looking for a Workstation Technician to take ownership of day-to-day IT support at the business's Netherlands distribution centre, while also providing support to its wider European operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and working with people, with the independence to manage their own workload and the backing of a wider international IT team.
You'll be the main point of contact for IT support on-site, working with everyone from warehouse operatives through to senior leadership, so being approachable, adaptable and comfortable communicating with people at all levels is just as important as your technical knowledge.
The position is primarily based at the Netherlands distribution centre, where you'll provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across the warehouse and office environment.
With the business continuing to invest in its European operations, including a new site opening in Paris, there will also be opportunities to support projects and IT requirements across other locations.
We're deliberately keeping the background open on this one.
You might already be working in a Workstation Technician, IT Support, Desktop Support or Helpdesk position, or perhaps you're earlier in your IT career and looking for an opportunity to take on more responsibility.
Experience supporting a warehouse or distribution environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
