Job summary

Pulitzer Amsterdam is seeking a Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. You will be the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests during the night, manage Front Office operations, and handle the nightly financial closure in the PMS.

The role requires English fluency, 1–2 years in hotel night shifts or Front Office, ability to stand long shifts, and familiarity with Opera PMS is a plus. We offer extensive Lore Group benefits and a chance to grow within a global hospitality

Qualifications

• Willingness to work night shifts (22:45 – 07:00), including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in night shifts and/or Front Office roles within a hotel environment.
• Physically capable of standing for an entire shift and lifting equipment such as suitcases or vacuum cleaners when required.
• Experience working with a Front Office PMS system; experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
• A calm, responsible, and detail-oriented approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests during the night, assisting with questions and requests related to their stay.
• Manage all Front Office operations throughout the night shift, ensuring a professional and seamless guest experience.
• Complete the financial closure of the day in the PMS system, carefully reviewing all transactions and administrative procedures from the previous day.
• Handle guest complaints, operational issues, and emergency situations during the night, following established SOPs and procedures.
• Serve as the main point of coordination between departments during night hours, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
• Support other departments when business levels require, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the hotel.
