Job summary

Greener Power Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Battery System Specialist to optimize the performance and reliability of our mobile battery fleet.

You will combine hands-on technical work with in-depth troubleshooting across BMS, PCS, inverters, PLC-based systems, SCADA/EMS platforms, and safety networks. You will collaborate with Service Engineers, Remote Support, and OEMs to drive maintenance strategies, document best practices, and travel to sites for advanced troubleshooting when needed.

Qualifications

5–7 years hands-on experience with battery energy storage systems, energy tech, or related installations.
MBO+/HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or similar.
Able to read electrical schematics, control diagrams, and OEM manuals.
Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert for BESS performance, troubleshooting, and analysis to maximize fleet reliability.
Investigate alarms, fault codes, logs, and system behavior to identify root causes and improvements.
Develop troubleshooting guides, service procedures, inspection standards, and best practices for engineers.
Support Service Engineers and Remote Support; travel to sites as needed for advanced troubleshooting.
Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to validate solutions and translate tech info into practical actions.
