As a Battery Service Engineer at Durapower Technology Group B.V., you’ll be a vital part of our Aftersales Department — delivering hands‑on support for battery systems through repairs, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and installation. You'll operate both independently on‑site and collaboratively with internal teams to uphold the safety, quality, and performance of our energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair battery systems in the field
- Diagnose and analyze system failures, ensuring proper functionality
- Perform reworks and adjustments to optimize battery performance
Process & Quality Support
- Address quality issues and relay insights to factory teams
- Contribute to service process improvements, including digitalization and automation
- Evaluate and provide feedback on tooling, work instructions, and procedures
Documentation & Training
- Prepare comprehensive service reports documenting repair actions and outcomes
- Create and update training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Provide guidance and training to customers on installations and service queries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering (power applications), or relevant technical experience
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with effective time management
- Hands‑on mindset and willingness to work independently in the field
- Experience in power electronics, batteries, renewable energy, or power grid sectors is an advantage
- Comfortable working at height (above 2 meters)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Possession of a valid European driving licence (B)
- VCA certification and forklift licence are a plus, but not mandatory
