Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Rotterdam to provide high-quality technical support for maritime satellite systems. The role offers structured product training and a clear 9-5 schedule with no after-hours or on-call duties.

You will support customers by phone and email, handle installation and fault finding, and contribute to knowledge bases, ensuring timely case resolution and documentation. Travel is limited and expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Background in SATCOM, marine electronics, satellite communications, or navigation systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality technical support to customers via telephone and email, covering installation, fault finding, and repair of maritime satellite communication products.
• Monitoring open cases and driving prompt resolution, with focus on priority escalations and keeping customers updated throughout.
• Performing structured fault analysis and maintaining accurate, real-time case records in the corporate case management system.
• Providing technical assistance in both pre and post-sales environments and supporting co-workers with technical queries.
• Reviewing and contributing to technical documentation and knowledge base content.
