Job summary

Radio Holland Rotterdam seeks a Service Engineer to perform on-site service work on vessels, ensuring reliable maritime communication and navigation systems. You will document activities, follow QHSE standards and report to the Technical Service Team Lead within the Deepsea Department.

The role requires strong problem-solving and customer-focused service delivery. After initial training, you will independently handle service requests, aim for First-Time-Right diagnostics, and maintain up-to-date

Qualifications

  • Technical background in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a technical or field service environment with troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work in maritime environments, with good English.

Responsibilities

  • Execute service jobs on vessels as directed by the Service Coordinator or Scheduler.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and optimize maritime communication and navigation systems.
  • Prepare accurate service reports according to Radio Holland standards.
  • Document services provided, materials used and technical findings clearly.
  • Follow QHSE principles, policies and regulations during all service activities.
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date by reviewing technical bulletins and manuals.
