Job summary

The Pyrmont Curaçao Beach Resort, part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott, seeks an Executive Housekeeper to lead the full housekeeping function for luxury guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. As a pre-opening leader, you will build the department, establish SOPs, and drive cost control while ensuring top-tier cleanliness and brand presentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in housekeeping management or a similar leadership role within a hotel environment.
• Experience in a chain or branded hotel is preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management systems such as Opera or similar PMS.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the housekeeping department’s strategic and operational plan aligned with brand standards.
• Oversee rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while ensuring luxury cleanliness and safety.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and motivate a large housekeeping team; foster an engaging culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to support guest satisfaction and financial performance.
