Job summary

U-People is looking for a Project Engineer Special Engineering/Exterior in Leiden, Netherlands. You will lead the engineering scope for custom exterior features on luxury superyachts and ensure their integration with overall design.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc in a technical field and at least 5 years of experience in yacht or shipbuilding. A strong communicator with knowledge of 3D AutoCAD is essential. Attractive package includes a salary of up to €87,000 and 38 paid leave days.

• Strong communicator with technical insight and coordination skills.
• Experience with complex mechanical/electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering scope of special/exterior systems within your project.
• Review 3D models, specifications, and documentation for technical compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and disciplines to ensure integration.
