Join our client's team and play a key role in delivering some of the world's most exclusive superyachts. As a Project Lead - Mechanical Engineering, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through production, coordinating technical teams and engineering disciplines to ensure high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet planning, quality, and technical standards throughout the entire yacht building process.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Lead mechanical engineering projects throughout the complete yacht building process.
  • Coordinate the engineering of propulsion, engine room, piping, and hotel systems.
  • Manage the mechanical engineering team and coordinate multidisciplinary activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation and production drawings.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, suppliers, and classification societies.
  • Monitor project planning, budget, quality, and engineering progress.
  • Support the project from detailed design through construction and final handover.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering
  • Experience within yacht building is mandatory.
  • Proven experience leading engineering projects in the maritime or yacht building industry.
  • Experience with CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), or Siemens NX is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering processes, and production methods.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Proactive, organized, quality-driven, and capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
