Job summary

Forexx Group B.V. in the Netherlands seeks experienced engineers for the design, engineering, or construction of custom-built superyachts 60 meters and above. You will contribute across concept design, detail engineering, production support, integration and commissioning.

Join multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with owners’ representatives, shipyards, suppliers and designers to meet the highest standards in quality, craftsmanship and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on custom-built superyachts of at least 60 meters.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on complex, bespoke projects.
• Strong technical understanding of yacht construction and systems integration.
• Experience coordinating with shipyards, suppliers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Involved in phases of yacht lifecycle: concept design, detail engineering, production support, integration, commissioning.
• Collaborate with owners’ representatives, designers, shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high standards.
• Work across disciplines to ensure quality and safety in systems and spaces.

We are continuously looking for experienced Engineers who have contributed to the design, engineering, or construction of custom-built superyachts of 60 meters and above. Our clients, located in the Netherlands, build highly complex, one-off builds where quality, craftsmanship, and technical excellence are paramount. Regardless of your engineering discipline, if you have experience in the superyacht sector and enjoy working in multidisciplinary project teams, we would like to hear from you.

Your Role

Depending on your background, you will be involved in one or more phases of the yacht lifecycle, including concept design, detail engineering, production support, integration, and commissioning. You will collaborate closely with owners’ representatives, designers, shipyards, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that systems, structures, and spaces meet the highest standards in the industry.

Relevant Engineering Disciplines (examples)

• Naval Architecture / Hull Design
• Outfitting Engineering (Interior & Exterior)
• Mechanical Engineering (Piping, HVAC, Machinery)
• Electrical & Automation Engineering
• Production or Commissioning Engineering

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience working on custom-built superyachts of at least 60 meters
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on complex, bespoke projects
• Strong technical understanding of yacht construction and systems integration
• Experience with shipyard, supplier, and designer coordination
• A quality-driven mindset and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong command of the English language, Dutch is a pre
