Job summary

Nevesbu is seeking a Naval Designer to translate requirements into comprehensive designs for naval vessels and offshore structures. You will create plans, layouts, and 3D models that directly influence manufacturability and performance under harsh conditions.

You will work with engineers across disciplines, review supplier drawings for interface compliance, and mentor a team of designers. Strong English proficiency and a minimum of five years in naval design are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant naval design experience is expected.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements into naval designs for vessels and offshore structures.
• Develop plans, layouts, and 3D models for manufacturability and functionality.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure design integration.
• Review supplier drawings to verify interface specifications and operability.
• Mentor designers and allocate work while monitoring quality and progress.
