Forexx Group B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking a Naval Architect/Marine Engineer to lead the design process for advanced naval vessels. In this role, you will tackle challenges from conceptualization to detailed engineering of complex systems, ensuring performance and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and has extensive experience in shipbuilding and a strong proficiency in CAD tools. A competitive salary and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• At least three years of hands-on experience in naval shipbuilding, maritime, or offshore.
• Proven ability to deliver meaningful innovation in technical domain.
• Excellent references, as security screening is required.
• Permanent EU nationality due to defence-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full design and development process from requirement analysis to defining system architecture.
• Perform weight calculations and stability assessments to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate and develop new maritime concepts, leading Proof-of-Concept studies.
• Translate concepts into detailed deliverables, including models and technical documentation.
• Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and internal teams.
