Job summary

Nevesbu is seeking a Senior/Lead Marine Mechanical Engineer to drive the design of complex mechanical systems for naval vessels, floating offshore units and special vessels. You’ll contribute to propulsion train, planes and rudder design, and act as sparring partner to the Lead Engineer, supervising junior engineers while shaping the discipline's growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in maritime engineering, naval architecture or mechanical engineering
• Minimum five years of relevant experience
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical design
• Willingness to innovate and push the limits of feasibility
• Ability to oversee and collaborate with junior engineers
• Security screening may be part of the process
