Job summary

Nevesbu is seeking a Structural Designer to design naval and offshore structures, translating challenges into manufacturable, safe designs using 2D and 3D CAD models.

You will work in multidisciplinary project teams in the Netherlands with colleagues worldwide, ensuring technical soundness while staying practical and buildable. Dutch and English fluency and a minimum of 5 years in a similar role are required.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO or HBO degree in Naval Architecture or comparable field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Structural Designer or in a comparable position.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical challenges into manufacturable, safe structural designs.
• Work with engineers and other disciplines to ensure designs are technically sound and buildable.
• Develop CAD models/drawings and assist in detailing for fabrication.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and suppliers across projects.
