• Extensive hands-on Python development experience.
• Proven ETL/ELT pipeline design using modern orchestration tools.

• Experience with Databricks and large-scale data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills in MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring.
• Strong English communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data platform design and delivery (pipelines + warehouse).
• Standardise patterns to reduce overhead and improve reliability.
• Plan releases with validation strategies and risk management.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on requirements and backlog.
• Raise engineering standards with reviews and testing practices.
• Improve test maturity and automation for pipelines.
• Integrate data components with the wider product ecosystem.
