Job summary

sennder is seeking an Operations Representative to join our Amsterdam office and manage daily transport operations for a key customer account. You will be the link between customers, carriers, and internal teams, coordinating execution and resolving issues to maintain high service levels.

You will build strong relationships with carrier partners, monitor KPIs, and contribute to capacity planning and improvements. English is essential; Dutch is a plus, and logistics exposure helps.

Responsibilities

• Act as daily operational contact for the customer, internal teams and carrier partners.
• Coordinate communication between customer, tracking team and carriers for smooth execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners.
• Align with carriers on capacity, planning and requirements.
• Coordinate transport allocation and support freight price discussions.
• Monitor KPIs: on-time delivery, transit times, delivery exceptions.
• Investigate root causes of disruptions and implement improvements.
• Support the commercial side of carrier management to secure capacity.
• Analyze customer and carrier performance and identify improvements.
• Work with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience.
