Job summary

sennder is seeking an Operations Representative in Amsterdam to oversee daily transport operations for a key customer account. You will act as the bridge between customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.

In this role you will coordinate communication, build strong carrier partnerships and monitor KPIs while seeking improvements to delivery performance. Strong English skills and a calm, solution-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• English communication required; Dutch is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with focus on performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the daily operational point of contact for the customer, internal teams and carrier partners.
• Coordinate communication between the customer, tracking team and carriers to ensure smooth transport execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners.
• Align with carriers on available capacity, future planning and operational requirements.
• Coordinate transport allocation, offer loads to carriers and support freight price discussions to secure the best operational solution.
• Monitor transport KPIs such as on-time delivery, transit times and delivery exceptions.
• Investigate root causes of operational disruptions and implement improvements to enhance delivery performance.
• Support the commercial side of carrier management by helping secure capacity and identifying additional carrier opportunities.
• Analyze customer and carrier performance and identify practical improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience across your portfolio.
