Job summary

YAYA Works in Amsterdam seeks a Junior Sales Representative passionate about hotels and technology to drive growth. You’ll be the first contact for hoteliers, generating interest, initiating conversations, and guiding prospects through discovery meetings in a fast-moving startup.

You will conduct market research, cold outreach, and follow-ups while building strong relationships with hotel owners and managers, with a clear path toward senior commercial roles as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in hospitality
• 1–2 years of sales, support, or customer-facing experience, ideally in hospitality or tech
• Experience with cold calling
• Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS, POS, channel managers)
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Driven, self-starting mindset and initiative
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Curiosity about hotel tech and startup environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify good prospects among hotels
• Prospect new leads via cold outreach: calls, emails, and visits
• Reach out to decision makers to introduce YAYA and schedule meetings
• Help prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-ups
• Follow leads through meetings with persistent follow-up
• Maintain CRM records of prospecting activity: outreach, meetings, next steps
