Job summary

Nance is hiring a Junior AI Product Developer to build user-facing features end-to-end, collaborating with senior engineers and founders. You’ll turn thin specs and direct user feedback into working software, prototype rapidly, ship to production, and learn how changes affect the product.

You’ll work on the agent itself, shipping improvements, and learning how to evaluate impact. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want fast ownership and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Built something with LLMs, either at work or on the side.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering; React, Python or cloud infra helpful but not required.
• Product sensibility: UX, speed, polish; speak up when things don’t feel right.
• Fast learner, take ownership, autonomous in unfamiliar tasks.
• Daily user of AI coding tools and enthusiastic about them.
• Careful about correctness and data handling.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop core features of the Nance agent end-to-end across the stack (frontend, backend, infra).
• Prototype quickly from thin specs and user feedback; ship to production.
• Build evals and testing to measure agent behavior and improvements.
• Own features from idea to shipped product; instrument and iterate.
