Job summary

Job description

As a ServiceNow Elite Partner, we help global organizations unlock the full value of digital workflows and enterprise service management. To strengthen our consulting capability, we are looking for an ITAM Senior Business Consultant who can guide clients in maturing their IT Asset Management functions using ITIL, IT4IT and ISO standards—while ensuring that their strategy and operating model are future‑proof and ready to be enabled on the ServiceNow platform.

What do you do?

As an ITAM Senior Business Consultant, you help Business and IT organizations evolve their IT Asset Management capability across hardware, software, cloud, and enterprise assets. You are focused primarily on advisory, governance, and strategic consulting, while working closely with our technical ServiceNow experts to ensure the platform supports the processes and controls you design.

You are a trusted advisor to CIOs, IT Directors, Procurement leads and Enterprise Architects—guiding them on ITAM maturity, risk reduction, cost optimization, compliance and tooling strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory

• Lead ITAM maturity assessments and design target operating models aligned with ITIL 4, IT4IT, and ISO 19770.
• Develop ITAM strategies, policies, governance frameworks, KPIs, and process documentation.
• Advise senior stakeholders on ITAM value realization, cost control, risk mitigation, and audit readiness.

Consulting & Client Engagement

• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, roadmap design sessions and steering presentations.
• Articulate improvement paths and business cases for ITAM transformation programs.
• Support pre‑sales, proposal development, and service offering enhancement as part of our IT & data practice.
• Represent ITAM expertise in client engagements, from assessment through implementation oversight.

ServiceNow-Enabled Advisory

• Guide clients on how ITAM best practices can be supported and scaled on the ServiceNow platform.
• Translate process and governance requirements into functional needs.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow architects and developers to ensure the solution design reflects ITIL‑aligned processes.

Thought leadership & Capability Building

• Contribute to the development of ITAM methodologies, frameworks, and internal assets.
• Coach colleagues and foster knowledge sharing within our consulting practice.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our ITAM offerings.

What You Bring

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, ideally within consulting or enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of ITIL 4 practices and ITAM best practices (IT4IT, ISO 19770).
• Strong experience designing ITAM processes, governance models, and operating structures.
• Excellent consultancy skills: stakeholder management, facilitation, storytelling, and executive communication.
• Ability to translate complex organizational challenges into clear, pragmatic ITAM solutions.

Preferred

• Experience working with or advising on ServiceNow ITAM capabilities (EAM, HAM, SAM, CMDB, Discovery).
• Familiarity with other ITAM and SAM tools (Flexera, Snow, USU, etc.).
• Certifications such as ITIL 4 Managing Professional, ISO 19770, or
• Experience in a ServiceNow partner environment is a strong plus.
