This is a client-facing consulting and advisory role where we are looking for a professional experienced in guiding organizations through the full lifecycle of ITOM projects - from strategic assessments and roadmap design to implementation and delivery. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and executed according to best practices.

As an ITOM Business Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and delivering ServiceNow IT Operations Management solutions to enterprise clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to assess business needs, define strategies and roadmaps, and guide the implementation of ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.

You will join a team of enthusiastic, eager-to-learn experienced consultants that focus on ServiceNow advisory services based on industry best practices such as IT4IT, ITIL and SAFe, as well as a collection of unique Plat4mation accelerators. You will get to work in high-impact and challenging projects at large national and international organizations in the financial, energy, telecom and high technology industries. You will be based in our Utrecht office or at the customer premises. You will work in a project environment focused on delivering true value to a customer. Depending on the project, you work on assessing, designing, automating and integrating ServiceNow ITOM solutions in greenfield implementations, ensuring strategic alignment and technical excellence.

What will you do?

• Engage with clients in an advisory capacity to assess current IT operations and identify opportunities for automation and optimization using ServiceNow ITOM
• Lead workshops and design sessions to define ITOM strategies, roadmaps and blueprints as part of consulting engagements
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for implementation
• Collaborate closely with project teams to provide guidance and ensure alignment with advisory recommendations and client goals
• Provide guidance on CMDB health, data normalization, and service visibility
• Support pre-sales activities, including demos, proposals, and solutioning
• Harness your insights and experience to drive innovation within the IT operations management domain, contributing to the development of new offerings
• Create and maintain valuable Plat4mation marketing-, sales- and delivery assets aimed at enhancing opportunity development and project delivery efficiency and effectiveness
• Facilitate internal training sessions to empower fellow team members with knowledge and skill enhancement
• Foster and nurture meaningful relationships with strategic Plat4mation partners, including ServiceNow and other key industry players

We ask

• 5+ years of experience in delivering IT Operations Management capabilities within consulting services, including advisory and implementation phases
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB/CSDM, CIS-ITOM certification is a plus
• Good understanding of IT4IT and ITIL as well as the decomposition of IT services, applications and IT infrastructure components
• Significant experience in (pre)sales and delivery of consulting services
• Ability to quickly make solid ITOM assessments, propose different solutions and relate these to the customer, examining, listening, qualifying, and resolving concerns in a logical fashion, emphasizing solutions that deliver maximum benefit
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
• Passion for automating workflows and achieving valuable results
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
• Fluency in English; Dutch skills are a plus
