Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam biedt een Front Office Internship aan. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor gasten en werkt mee aan een internationaal hotelteam om een uitstekende gastbeleving te garanderen.

Tijdens de stage verwelkom je gasten, voer je check-in/out, beheer je reserveringen en deel je lokale tips met reizigers. Je ontwikkelt verkoop- en servicevaardigheden in een dynamische omgeving.

Qualifications

• Je beheerst het Engels (Spreken en schrijven).
• Je volgt een relevante opleiding en bent tijdens de stage ingeschreven.
• Klantgerichte houding en plezier in gastvrijheid.
• Nauwkeurigheid en detailgerichtheid.
• Goed kunnen samenwerken met internationale gasten en teams.

Responsibilities

• Zorgdragen voor een warme en professionele ontvangst van gasten.
• Leren in- en uitchecken zelfstandig te verwerken na training.
• Reserveringen beheren en reageren op gastvragen.
• Lokale tips en aanbevelingen delen met internationale reizigers.
• Verkoop- en servicevaardigheden ontwikkelen en incidenten oplossen bij service recovery.
• Samenwerken met andere afdelingen om een naadloze gastbeleving te creëren.
• Zorgen voor een welkom gevoel en oprechte gastvrijheid.

Your Role at a Glance

As a Front Office Intern, you will be at the heart of the guest experience. As one of the first points of contact, you will create genuine connections with guests while gaining hands-on experience in an international hotel environment. During your internship, you will:

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, making them feel at home from the moment they arrive.
• Handle check-in and check-out independently after completing your training.
• Manage reservations, respond to guest requests, and support daily Front Office administration.
• Share personalised recommendations and local insights with international travellers.
• Develop valuable skills in upselling, problem-solving, and service recovery.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to create a seamless guest experience.
• Help create an atmosphere in which every guest feels genuinely welcomed and cared for.
