Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam zoekt een Food & Beverage Management Intern die hands-on ervaring opdoet in de dagelijkse operaties van een internationaal hotel en samenwerkt met het F&B-team om service en gastbeleving te optimaliseren.

Tijdens de stage ondersteun je outlets, coördineer je teamactiviteiten, leid je collega’s en help je bij planning, voorraad en kostenbewaking. Je ontwikkelt leiderschap en commercieel inzicht in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Vloeiende beheersing van Engels in woord en schrift.
• Stage vereist bij onderwijsinstelling.

Responsibilities

• Ondersteunen van dagelijkse operaties in het restaurant, bar, banqueting en roomservice.
• Coördineren van teamactiviteiten voor soepele service.
• Ondersteunen van collega’s op de vloer met begeleiding, training en motivatie.
• Assisteren bij planning, organisatie en administratie van Food & Beverage-activiteiten.
• Bijdragen aan projecten geleid door de (Assistent) F&B Manager.
• Verantwoordelijk voor kostencontrole, voorraadbeheer, inkoop en budgetbewaking.
• Reageren op gastfeedback en ondersteunen bij serviceherstel.
• Samenwerken met andere afdelingen voor naadloze gastbeleving.

Your Role at a Glance

As a Food & Beverage Management Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in the daily operations and leadership of an international hotel environment. Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, you will discover how different outlets operate while helping to create smooth service and memorable guest experiences. During your internship, you will:

• Support the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, banqueting, and room service outlets.
• Help coordinate team activities to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Support colleagues on the floor through guidance, training, and motivation.
• Assist with the planning, organisation, and administration of Food & Beverage operations.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives led by the (Assistant) Food & Beverage Manager.
• Gain experience in cost control, inventory management, purchasing, and budget monitoring.
• Help respond to guest feedback and support service recovery.
• Collaborate with different departments to create seamless guest experiences.
• Develop your understanding of hospitality operations, leadership, and commercial decision‑making.
