Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts zoekt een Duty Management Intern om hands-on ervaring op te doen in de hoteloperaties en samen te werken met meerdere afdelingen. Je volgt een HBO-opleiding in Hospitality of vergelijkbaar, bent beschikbaar voor minimaal 4 maanden, 5 dagen per week (start in september/oktober 2026) en hebt een goede beheersing van het Engels; woonachtig in Nederland.

Responsibilities

• Ondersteunt dagelijkse hoteloperaties over meerdere afdelingen.
• Assisteert gastenrelaties en afhandeling van feedback/klachten.
• Stemt af met Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage en Maintenance voor een soepele operatie.
• Voert operationele controles uit en bewaakt normen en kwaliteit.
• Ondersteunt VIP-aankomsten en speciale verzoeken.
• Ondersteunt rapportage, administratie en operationele follow-up.
• Draagt bij aan projecten en continue verbetering.
• Zorgt voor memorabele gastbeleving door uitstekende service.

As a Duty Management Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in hotel operations while working closely with different departments across the hotel. Your Role at a Glance

• Support the daily operation of the hotel across multiple departments.
• Assist with guest relations and help handle guest feedback and complaints.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams to ensure a smooth operation.
• Conduct operational checks and support quality and brand standards throughout the hotel.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and ensure special requests are handled with care.
• Support reporting, administrative tasks, and operational follow-up.
• Contribute to hotel projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help create memorable guest experiences by delivering excellent hospitality and service.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• You are available for a minimum of 4 months, 5 days per week, including weekends.
• You are available to start your internship in late September or early October 2026.
• You have strong communication and guest service skills.
• You are proactive, organized, and solution-oriented.
• You enjoy working with different teams and departments.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure.
• You have a good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• You are able to provide a school internship agreement.
• You have a residential address in the Netherlands.
