Philips International is offering an internship in Finance & Accounting – Group Consolidation & Reporting (non-thesis) in Amsterdam. The role supports quarterly press releases, annual reporting, and financial data processing within an international GC&R team.
As part of the ARIC group, you will assist in IFRS reporting, data extraction from the financial system, and presentation of findings to stakeholders. Fluency in English and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential.

Assists in the planning and coordination of the quarterly press release and annual report process. This involves liaising with other teams within Royal Philips (e.g., Group Sustainability, Philips Design, Group Tax).
Assists in XBRL filings for the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Retrieves and processes data from our financial system to our reporting tool.
Assists in preparation and presentation of reports or findings for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all findings are presented with utmost accuracy and clarity.
Analyzes data related to departmental projects, identifying significant trends, patterns, and anomalies, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive data-informed decision-making.
Conducts research on relevant topics and areas by investigating current trends, industry best practices and competitive landscape to provide comprehensive insights and support the strategic direction of ongoing projects and initiatives.
Participates in team meetings, contributing ideas and input, while also capturing detailed minutes that accurately reflect discussions, decisions, and action items, ensuring effective communication and follow-up within the team.
Contribute to other ad hoc projects, such as GC&R team projects or process improvements projects.
You are a part of The Group Consolidation and Reporting (GC&R) team, which is a part of ARIC (Accounting, Reporting and Internal Control). The team is responsible for consolidation and financial reporting of Royal Philips. The team is based at the Philips Center in Amsterdam and has a size of around 24 people. We are an international team and we warmly welcome newcomers.
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
