Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam is offering a Duty Management Intern role to gain hands‑on experience across hotel operations. You will support multiple departments and interact with guests to ensure smooth service and issue resolution.

The position emphasizes leadership development, problem solving, and a proactive, organized approach in a dynamic hospitality environment. English proficiency is required; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Tourism.
• Available for at least 4 months, 5 days per week.
• Available to start late September or early October 2026.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the hotel across multiple departments.
• Assist with guest relations and help handle guest feedback and complaints.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams to ensure a smooth operation.
• Conduct operational checks and support quality and brand standards throughout the hotel.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and ensure special requests are handled with care.
• Support reporting, administrative tasks, and operational follow-up.
• Contribute to hotel projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help create memorable guest experiences by delivering excellent hospitality and service.

You are currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.

You are available for a minimum of 4 months, 5 days per week, including weekends.

You are available to start your internship in late September or early October 2026.

You have strong communication and guest service skills.

You are proactive, organized, and solution-oriented.

You enjoy working with different teams and departments.

You thrive in a dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure.

You have a good command of English; additional languages are a plus.

You are able to provide a school internship agreement.

You have a residential address in the Netherlands.
