Job summary

adidas in Amsterdam is offering an internship as Intern DC Planning within the EU SCM Deployment team. You will assist with distribution center capacity planning, data analysis and supply chain performance monitoring across Europe.

During the 6-month program (Feb 2027–Jul 2027), you’ll build dashboards and reporting in Excel and Power BI, gain hands-on exposure to network optimization, and develop analytical thinking and data storytelling while collaborating with cross-functional colleagues.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student for the internship duration.
• Pursuing a related degree in SCM, logistics or business administration.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Willingness to work in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with DC capacity planning, data analysis and supply chain performance monitoring.
• Support monthly planning reviews, management presentations and DC network health checks.
• Help maintain planning dashboards and data visualizations in Excel and Power BI.

YOUR INTERNSHIP ROLE

As an Intern DC Planning, you will be part of the EU SCM Deployment team, a group that plays a key role within adidas by driving distribution center planning, capacity visibility and ensuring a smooth flow of products through adidas' European distribution network. The team works closely with Europe SCM Functions (Product Supply, Inbound-/Fulfillment Center Planning), Demand Planning, Finance and Tech and is involved in analyzing distribution center capacity, creating supply chain insights, developing dashboards and reporting, and supporting projects that help products move efficiently from factories to customers across Europe, contributing directly to adidas' overall success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO & LEARN

• Assisting with distribution center capacity planning, data analysis and supply chain performance monitoring
• Supporting the preparation of monthly planning reviews, management presentations and DC network health checks
• Helping maintain or improve planning dashboards, reporting tools and data visualizations in Excel and Power BI
• Gain hands-on exposure to supply chain planning, distribution center operations and network optimization
• Develop skills such as analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, problem solving and data storytelling
• Build confidence working in an international team

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A MATCH

• Enrolled as a fulltime student for the entire duration of the internship
• Studying Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics or a related field
• Available for the full internship period 01/02/2027 - 31/07/2027
• Comfortable working in English, both speaking and writing.
• Motivated to learn, curious, and open to feedback
• Interest in supply chain planning, logistics, distribution center operations, business intelligence and data-driven decision making
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus
• Passion for sport and/or an active lifestyle
