Job summary

Huxley is seeking an experienced Interim People Operations Manager to lead a large international HR Operations team. You will drive operational excellence, partner with the People department, and shape the global HR service delivery model in a dynamic, complex environment.

Location is Amsterdam (Hybrid). Contract type is freelance for an initial 6 months with extension potential; rate is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in HR in fast-paced environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management.
• Extensive knowledge of HR operations and service delivery.
• Experience with HR systems, payroll, and operations management.
• Excellent communication and change-management capabilities.
• Ability to work globally and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large HR Operations team across the Dutch market.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR service delivery and operating model.
• Partner with People department stakeholders to align with business objectives.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and report on service levels.
• Steer global HR Operations initiatives and transformation programmes.
• Provide data-driven insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Promote collaboration and effective communication across stakeholders.
• Support organisational change initiatives and cross-functional projects.
