Job summary

Centre People Appointments is seeking an Interim IT Help Desk professional for a well-known Japanese company in Amsterdam on a short-term contract, starting around October–November 2026. You will support about 30 local users and serve as the first point of contact for desktop IT issues, coordinating with an external IT vendor to ensure timely resolution.

Ideal candidates have prior IT help desk or desktop support experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate technical

Qualifications

Experience in IT help desk, desktop support or IT coordination.
Able to liaise between non-technical users and external IT vendors.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and device management.
Business level English; Japanese knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support requests from up to approximately 30 local users.
Triage desktop issues and coordinate troubleshooting and resolution with the external IT vendor.
Keep employees updated on service requests and follow up until issues are resolved.
Coordinate device setup, access permissions, user accounts, Microsoft 365 and MDM matters with the external IT vendor.
Log and track requests, escalating issues appropriately and keeping records up to date.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and support ad hoc IT-related projects or reporting as required.
