Job summary

Total Solutions in Amsterdam seeks an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide onsite and remote 1st and 2nd line support, optimizing the working ICT environment. This project-based contract runs until year-end with a possible extension, offering €2,800–€3,000 gross per month for 40 hours.

You will handle tickets, support laptops and mobile devices in a hybrid setting, manage user accounts, and contribute to IT infrastructure and security efforts.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in all-round IT support.
• Experience in international IT environments.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and security architectures.
• Expertise in Microsoft client-server OS and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; preferably Dutch.
• Planning, project coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming tickets 1st line and 2nd line.
• Provide on-site and remote 1st/2nd line support for laptops and mobile devices in a hybrid setting.
• Own customer issues from ICT Service Desk to resolution.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain laptops, monitors and accessories in the office.
• Perform user administration: add, remove and configure users in directory services.

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer for an international company in Amsterdam. You will offer onsite and remote 1st line and 2nd line support to colleagues and optimize the working environment.

Projectagreement till end of the year with possible extension.

Salary: € 2.800,- and € 3.000,- based on 40 hours (depending on experience) Only apply if this is your salary indication.

Your tasks will be:

• Manage incoming tickets 1st line and 2nd line
• Provide one-on-one technical support in a hybrid setting (on-site and remote) for laptops and mobile devices
• You will take ownership of customer issues reported through the ICT Service Desk and see problems through to resolution.
• Deal with the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of laptops, monitors and accessories in the office
• Perform user administration tasks: adding, removing and configuring users in directory services

Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in all-round IT support;
• Experience with working in an international IT environments;
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and security architectures;
• Expertise in the area of Microsoft Client Server operational systems and applications;
• Handling of common software and platform technologies;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Fluency in English and preferably Dutch
• Planning, project coordination and problem-solving skills.
