Job summary

CMA CGM Holland is seeking an Inside Sales Officer to grow and manage a customer portfolio in a defined geographic area. The role emphasizes proactive telesales, relationship management, and strategic account development across trade lanes, VAS, and intermodal solutions.

Responsibilities include defining sales targets with Trade Management, creating quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer-focused execution. English is required; Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required; Dutch is strongly preferred; knowledge of French is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM software and CMA-CGM systems.
• Driver's license and a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
• Strong negotiation, decision quality and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts across export, import and cross-trade activities.
• Proactively sell via phone and digital channels to promote services and increase revenue.
• Execute sales plans aligned with segmentation, trade strategies and objectives.
• Define customer sales targets with Trade Management and identify market opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, mini-bids and tenders; monitor pipeline in CRM.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure engagement and customer-focused execution.
• Sell CMA-CGM+ (VAS) and non-maritime products in line with pricing policy.
• Strive for invoice accuracy and manage credit terms; assist with disputes as needed.
• Monitor customer performance using data analytics and report to Sales Management.
