Job summary

Raaga7 in the Netherlands is seeking an Independent working chef I to join our kitchen team. You will independently prepare lunch and dinner, manage mise en place, and ensure taste, quality, and presentation while adhering to HACCP and safety regulations.

We offer a variety of shifts, a supportive team, travel expense reimbursement, daily clean company clothing, and internal training opportunities. Salary ranges €2,700–€3,200 per month depending on experience, located at Marktplein 21, 1421AC,

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 diploma is required.
• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Ability to work independently and handle stress.
• Works well within a restaurant team.
• Speaks Dutch or English.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes.
• Carry out mise en place and other preparatory tasks.
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
• Apply and comply with HACCP and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes.
• Supervising compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes
• Carry out mise en place and other preparatory tasks (cutting, mixing, portioning)
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
• Apply and comply with HACCP and safety regulations
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces
• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes
• Supervising compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Holds an MBO level 3 diploma of work and thinking level MBO 3.
• Someone who has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Shows initiative and can work independently
• Can handle stress and peak busy periods effectively
• Functions well within the dynamics of a restaurant team
• Speaks Dutch or English
• Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn
