Khizar Tandoori B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking an Independent working chef - I to join our kitchen. You will prepare ingredients, verify quality, perform basic cooking techniques, and assist with inventory and menu input.

No prior experience required. We offer a competitive monthly salary of €2,700–€3,200, varied shifts, travel reimbursement, training opportunities, and a friendly team in a stylish, well-structured setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the ingredients for the dishes and assess the quality of the products/ingredients.
• Applies basic cooking techniques, prepares and presents dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Carries out preparatory work (cutting, mixing, etc.) and intermediate quality controls.
• Is responsible for inventory and order management, and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean.
• Professionally supervises assistant(s) and provides input regarding the composition and modification of menus, the menu card, and methods.
• Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes
• Supervising compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants.

From our new colleague, we expect that he/she will:
