Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to partner with segment leaders in Europe/APAC-AfMEI, focusing on annual plans, market analysis, and value enhancement programs. The role requires deep financial, commercial, and analytics skills, and familiarity with SAP/OneStream and Power BI.

Based in Rotterdam with travel within Europe. You'll lead strategic projects, manage monthly/quarterly reporting, and support regional and global teams in strategy execution, transformation, and change

Qualifications

Master degree with a major in Engineering and/or Finance.
Advanced degree and/or CPA / MBA preferred.
Typically 10-12 years of work experience in an international corporate setting, with strong Strategy experience.
Experience in manufacturing industry such as plastics, chemical, and/or refining is required.
Strong experience with SAP/ OneStream, MS Excel, and Business Intelligence solutions (Power BI).
English fluency is required.

Responsibilities

Support segment leaders in designing and managing business strategies.
Lead annual strategic planning, performance analysis and reporting.
Drive Value Enhancement Program accountability for assigned segments.
Lead regional/global projects including M&A, restructurings, and investment analyses.
