Job summary

Flink in the Netherlands is seeking a Hub Manager to lead a single hub’s operations, from picking to delivery, ensuring on-time, in‑condition orders and a motivated, coached team. You will own performance metrics, drive process improvements, and uphold food safety and labour standards on the floor.

You’ll report to the City Manager, manage scheduling, recruit and train staff, and foster a culture of ownership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an operational role with focus on process optimisation and team management.
• Experience managing a team with coaching and talent development.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to translate KPIs into processes.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Team-oriented, collaborative and hands-on in operations (picking/packing/inbounding).
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the hub's operational flow, keeping picking, packing, and delivery efficient and to standard.
• Lead safety and compliance topics including food hygiene, labour law, and safety.
• Report to City Manager together with 7-10 other Hub Managers.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Hub leadership team (Shift Leads and Ops Associates).
• Ensure on-time, correct customer orders and a positive customer experience.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new pickers and riders; ensure safe, efficient day-one setup.
• Manage scheduling for the entire team to ensure proper coverage.
• Foster a culture of ownership and teamwork across the hub.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in picking, packing, and inbounding activities.
