Job summary

Flink seeks a Hub Manager in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, to lead hub operations and drive performance. You will own picking, packing, and delivery efficiency while ensuring safety, compliance, and a top-tier customer experience.

You will recruit, coach, and develop a motivated team that operates from the hub floor with ownership. You will report to the City Manager and work with 7–10 other Hub Managers, focusing on building a capable team and scalable processes in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an operational role with focus on process improvement and team management.
• Experience leading a team, coaching, developing talent, and giving feedback.
• Data-driven mindset and ability to translate KPIs into concrete processes.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and emphasis on efficiency.
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach to achieving goals.
• Hands-on with picking, packing, and inbounding responsibilities.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the hub's operational flow, ensuring picking, packing and delivery meet standards.
• Lead Safety and Compliance topics including food hygiene, labour law and safety.
• Report to City Manager together with 7-10 other Hub Managers.
• Coach and develop Hub leadership team (Shift Leads and Ops Associates+).
• Ensure customer orders go out correctly and on time, every time.
• Recruit, onboard and train new pickers and riders for efficient and safe work.
• Manage scheduling for the entire team and ensure proper coverage.
• Foster a culture of ownership and mutual support on the hub floor.
• Stay hands-on with core operations including inbounding, packing and picking.
