Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an HR Generalist to support the Netherlands and Belgium cluster. You will collaborate with the HR Business Partner and HR Operations Specialist to deliver accurate people processes, coordinate onboarding, contracts, changes and offboarding, and manage benefits and payroll-related tasks.

The role requires strong attention to detail, 3+ years HR experience, and proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field.
• At least 3 years of HR operations or generalist experience.
• Knowledge of Dutch employment legislation is preferred; Belgian requirements a plus.
• Experience with HR portals and occupational health processes; ArboNed familiarity a plus.
• Experience with HRIS (Paylocity or SAP SuccessFactors) and handling confidential records.
• Prior payroll experience is desirable.
• English proficiency; Dutch preferred for NL/BE support; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, contracts, changes, transfers, promotions and offboarding.
• Administer benefits and maintain leave records per local rules.
• Coordinate sickness absence and liaise with occupational health providers.
• Maintain digital personnel records and support HR audits and reporting.
• Provide temporary payroll cover when needed (not monthly payroll processing).
• Support recruitment and HR projects with logistics and follow-up.
