Job summary

Van Oord is seeking an HR Advisor who serves as the first point of contact for managers and employees on a broad range of people matters. You will combine hands-on advice with a focus on quality, consistency and business needs across Survey, QHSE and Procurement & Supply Chain, including Facilities.

You collaborate with two HR Business Partners and HR Operations to ensure smooth HR processes, take ownership of questions, and escalate to the right specialists when needed, all in line with HR

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Approximately four years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a complex international project organisation.
• Strong organizational sensitivity, business awareness and a collaborative working style.
• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach managers on employee relations topics across performance, absenteeism, vitality, engagement and development.
• Support HR Business Partners in delivering the people agenda and HR cycle across three departments.
• Guide managers through HR policies, processes and systems and translate complex topics into practical actions.
• Coordinate with HR Operations and Centres of Expertise to support an efficient, compliant and consistent employee journey from job offer to offboarding.
• Use HR data, dashboards and business insights to identify themes and strengthen HR support.
