Job summary

Van Oord is seeking an HR Advisor Crew to partner with managers in the Ship Management Department, delivering practical HR guidance across onboarding, performance, development, and offboarding. You will ensure consistent application of HR policies and employment law while balancing business needs and employee wellbeing.

You will collaborate with HR Business Partners and Center of Expertise to improve HR processes, tools, and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HBO-level education in HR or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment legislation and HR practices.
• Experience advising and coaching managers on a broad range of HR topics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice to managers within the Ship Management Department.
• Support managers across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance, development, and offboarding.
• Contribute to HR process improvements and the HR strategy.
• Support international workforce with practical HR guidance and compliant practices.
