Job summary

Samskip is seeking a People Advisor to support managers and employees across global regions, based in Rotterdam. You will handle the full employee lifecycle, onboarding, changes, and offboarding, and collaborate with the People Ops team to improve HR processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field, at least 3 years as a generalist, strong English and Dutch skills, and experience with HR systems in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Min. 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience with HR systems and process improvement.
• Understanding of EU labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage full employee lifecycle: onboarding, changes, promotions, leave, offboarding.
• Prepare offers and coordinate contracts and onboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Provide guidance on HR queries and employee engagement.
• Support absence management and liaise with the company doctor.
