Job summary

Avani in Amsterdam is seeking a housekeeping operative to ensure order and cleanliness across the hotel. You will follow the daily schedule, assist in room preparation, and collaborate with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of hospitality.

As a housekeeping employee (f/m/d), you are responsible for ensuring order and cleanliness throughout the hotel.

HowYou’llBring the Avani Vibe to Life

07:45After your cup of coffee or tea you report to the Housekeeping Manager's office. During the handover, the room lists are distributed so you know which rooms need your service today.
08:00You collect your trolley from the service pantry, and you make sure everything is there so you do not miss out on your shift. You will start cleaning the first room on your list.
10:00The first rooms are clean and tidy again and you and your colleagues go to the canteen to enjoy a well-deserved cup of coffee or tea.
11:00You have a brief meeting with the Floor Supervisor regarding some last-minute changes in the rooms you must clean. One room wants an extra bed, another room stays a day longer, and a third room wants extra towels.
12:00Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
12:30You ensure your trolley is replenished and continue where you left off.
14:00Time for a short break before you start cleaning the last rooms.
15:30You have finished cleaning your rooms, and after the floor supervisor has inspected them all you will make sure everything is ready and back in place for the following day.
16:00Time to go home!
