Job summary

nhow Amsterdam RAI is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant for a full-time position in Amsterdam. The role involves cleaning rooms, replenishing amenities, and supporting a vibrant, design-forward hotel environment. The team emphasizes guest satisfaction and multicultural collaboration within the nhow brand in Europe.

Salary is based on Horeca CLA scale 3, with a monthly gross range and year-end bonus opportunities linked to performance and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum rooms and corridors.
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities per guidelines.
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks.
• Restock and maintain trolley daily.
• Report missing or damaged items to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Ensure equipment in guest rooms and work areas is used properly.
• Manage guest requests in a timely manner.
• Carry out lost property procedures.

The Housekeeping team consists of about70 colleagues working directly with us or as part of an external agency. The team is international, so you get the chance to practice yourworld'slanguages.

What part will you play in creating the unforgettable?

• Vacuumroomsandcorridors;
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines;
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks;
• Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis;
• Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor;
• Ensure that all equipment inside and around guest rooms as well as in work areas and used;
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner;

A day in the life of a Housekeeping Attendant (starting times may change, below is an example of how your day could look like)
08:30 During the morning briefing, you will receive the room lists so you know which rooms you will be working in today. And there is of course a time for a cup of coffee or tea to start your day.
08:45 You collect your trolley from the servicepantry,and you make sure everything isthere,so you do not need to be running up and down. You will start cleaning the first room from your list.
11:30 Time for your well-deserved lunch break but this is flexible based on your schedule or your preference. Enjoylunchin our canteen together with your colleagues.
12:00 After lunch you continue with your list until it is completed.
15:00 You have finished cleaning your rooms, and after the floor supervisor has inspected themall you will make sure everything is ready and back in place for the following day.
16:00 Now it istimeto prepare for tomorrow and replenish your trolley.
16:30 Time to go home! Thank you for today.
