Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Associate to maintain linen inventory, restock and support guest room needs. You will handle deliveries, organize pantries, and assist room attendants with towels, linen and supplies.

Ideal candidates are English-speaking, physically capable, and ready to work flexible hours in a team environment, with Dutch as an advantage. Opportunity to grow within Minor Hotels group.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about helping guests and delivering friendly service.
• You are physically active and able to handle heavy linen carts.
• You have an eye for detail and quality in guest spaces.
• You enjoy flexible hours and work well in teams or independently.
• You speak English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and restock linen closets.
• Receiving deliveries and distribute them to pantries on floors.
• Organize pantries with extra beds and amenities for guests and room standards.
• Deliver towels, linen and supplies to floors for morning room attendants and assist room attendants.
• Prepare extra beds in guest rooms.
• Pickup dirty linen and send to laundry via Houseman.
• Distribute clean linen to floors for room attendants.
• Monitor stock and perform monthly stock count (SAP input by Manager/assistant).
• Flag missing articles and cleaning products; prepare written purchase orders.
• Respond to housekeeping requests and guest needs; deliver items as required.
• Clean carpets in corridors with a machine.

Your Role at a Glance

• Maintain inventory and restock linen closets.
• Receiving all the deliveries and distribute them to all the pantries on the floors;
• Organizing all the pantries with extra beds, amenities, for the guest usage and for the room standards.
• Delivering towels, linen and supplies to each and every floor for morning room attendants. Provides everything for the guests upon requests, help the Room attendants
• Preparing Extra beds in guest rooms.
• All dirty linen is picked up by a Houseman (from the pantries to be sent to the Laundry company for washing)
• Clean linen distribution to the floors (7 floors in this case), for the Room attendants.
• Monitoring stock and doing stock count monthly, in order to be processed in SAP by the Manager/assistant
• Signalizing missing articles and cleaning products and preparing written orders for purchasing.
• Guest Rooms, Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses and deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms.
• Cleaning carpets with a machine in all the corridors
