Job summary

Países Bajos Jobs is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for a hotel kitchen in Amsterdam. You will support the Head Chef and manage daily kitchen operations in a busy hotel environment. The role is long-term and includes accommodation and meals.

Requirements include 5–7 years as a Sous Chef, HACCP knowledge, and strong leadership. Working hours are 06:00–14:00, five days a week, with single-room housing and transportation support.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a Sous Chef in hotel or restaurant kitchens.
• Strong leadership and kitchen organization skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Monitor product quality, shelf life and freshness.
• Manage kitchen stock and assist with ordering supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements.
