Job summary

Ruby is seeking an operational leader for its Amsterdam-based hotel, driving guest experience, team development, and financial performance. You’ll recruit, onboard and mentor staff, lead by example, and ensure smooth daily operations in a dynamic hospitality setting.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of POS and PMS, fluent in Dutch and English, and a passion for Lean Luxury in a fast-growing group.

Qualifications

• Completed professional training in the hotel industry and/or a degree in hospitality or business administration.
• Strong knowledge of POS, PMS and business management.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel as the go-to person for the team, guests, and partners.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and development while fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Lead by example as an active part of the team and manage budgets.
• Forecasting and cost control with precision.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety and legal requirements.
