Ruby Hotels Rotterdam is opening a new Ruby Tessa and seeks a Host Service & Reception Night (m/f/d). The role blends warm guest care with quiet, professional night-time operations in a fast-growing hospitality group.

You’re the first impression, welcoming guests, handling night duties, helping with the breakfast setup, and sharing tips about the city. Dutch and English fluency, teamwork, and a passion for service are essential to thrive here.

Inspired by the optimism of 1950s modernism and the bold visions of futurism, we’ve mixed clean architectural lines with playful retro-future accents and a confident ’80s edge. Ruby Tessa is a place to pause, reset and tap into a city that never stops moving forward. With 225 rooms, she rises in Galshaven, just southwest of the city centre, putting Rotterdam’s historic heart, the iconic Market Hall and excellent transport connections within easy reach – while the skyline around you proves one thing: the future is now.

We are a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe's most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.

The role is set to start in September, just in time for the opening of our hotel in October. First interviews are planned for the middle of August, and those invited to our first audition will hear from us separately.

• ideally gained some experience in the hotel industry, don’t worry if you don’t know what "mise-en-place" means yet
• a true night owl, who enjoys working primarily at night and in shifts, while always keeping everything under control
• counting reliability, multitasking and your willingness to learn among your strengths
• empathetic with others and love sharing your enthusiasm with those around you
• a great sense of humour, enjoy working in a team, and love interacting with our guests
• speaking fluent Dutch and English
