Job summary

Ruby Hotels in Rotterdam seeks a passionate bartender to join the Ruby Tessa bar team. You’ll craft cocktails, mix drinks, and welcome guests with friendly, personal service, creating memorable moments at the heart of our Lean Luxury concept.

You speak Dutch and English, work well in a team, and are flexible for shifts. This full-time role (35 hours) comes with mobility support, staff rates, and opportunities to grow through training and mentoring in a dynamic, city-center hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Flexible and ready to work in shifts.
• Reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Empathetic with others and enthusiastic about guest interaction.
• Great sense of humor and team player.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

With 225 rooms, she rises in Galshaven, just southwest of the city centre, putting Rotterdam’s historic heart, the iconic Market Hall and excellent transport connections within easy reach – while the skyline around you proves one thing: the future is now.

We are a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe's most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.

The role is set to start in September, just in time for the opening of our hotel in October. First interviews are planned for the middle of August, and those invited to our first audition will hear from us separately.

• previous experience in a similar position, ideally in lifestyle hotels or at the bar hotspots of your city
• flexible and ready to work in shifts
• counting reliability, multitasking and your willingness to learn among your strengths
• empathetic with others and love sharing your enthusiasm with those around you
• a great sense of humour, enjoy working in a team, and love interacting with our guests
• speaking fluent Dutch and English
