Job summary

Savoy Hotel Rotterdam, part of Leonardo Hotels Benelux, is seeking a guest-focused Host to manage check-ins, reservations, and inquiries with a friendly, proactive approach.

You will assist guests at the front desk, support breakfast service, handle luggage, and help maintain a welcoming lobby. Fluent Dutch and English are required; additional languages are a plus.

Two years of hospitality experience preferred; EU citizenship or valid NL work permit required.

About The Job

Are you a service-minded person with a strong sense of hospitality who loves creating great experiences for guests? We are looking for an enthusiastic Host who always goes the extra mile.

What Will You Be Doing

• You are the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-ins, check-outs and questions.
• You share recommendations and offer to make reservations.
• You take calls and handle room reservation requests.
• You help guests with luggage and ensure a warm farewell.
• You support the breakfast service and assist in the lobby when needed.
• You maintain a clean and welcoming environment

Who are we?

Savoy Hotel Rotterdam is part of Leonardo Hotels and was completely renovated in April 2019. The hotel now offers 95 luxurious hotel rooms and a cool Piet le Blanc Suite where you can play games, watch movies or listen to music. The lobby has a cozy open space where you can go for breakfast, lunch, drink coffee and in the evening get some work done or catch up with colleagues or friends over a drink or snack.

Job Requirements

• You always put the guest first.
• You are flexible, energetic and calm in any situation.
• You have experience as a receptionist; F&B experience is a plus.
• You work well independently and in a team.
• You are proactive, responsible and a real go-getter.
• Experience with reservation systems and first aid is an advantage.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• At least two years of hospitality experience.
• You can easily travel to work at all times.
